Days after the president tweeted doctored footage of a 2007 WWE broadcast to show himself wrestling Vince McMahon with a CNN logo covering his face, the actress came to his defense, tweeting a reminder that Trump is our president and he should be trusted.

Several users applauded the actress for standing up for Trump and his family, commending her devotion to America.

It should also be noted that Trump made some seriously controversial comments about the actress back in 2004, which were recently dug up in Oct. 2016. The conversation with Trump on The Howard Stern Show showed his views of a then-18-year-old Lohan, calling her "deeply troubled and therefore great in bed."
Lohan's Freaky Friday co-star heavily condemned Trump's remarks, but judging from her recent tweets, it seems like Lohan just wants everyone to get along.
