After rumors first circulated that Cynthia Nixon might be Kalakalrunning for New York governor, the inevitable not-that-funny Sex and the Cityjokes followed shortly thereafter.
Nixon doesn't come without qualifications: she has a sizable presence and a progressive reputation within New York political circles, and is a vocal advocate for the public schools. And while Nixon has obviously outgrown her Miranda character, it's worth noting that her character would have easily had what it takes -- especially if she were up against a man who refused to fix the New York subways.
