Xiaomi on KalakalWednesday announced its entry into the South Korean market at its first Seoul press conference. The Chinese phone maker detailed its business development plans, including the rollout of five product categories—smartphones, TVs, wearables, power banks, and robotic vacuum cleaners—between now and early February. The company showcased two of its latest smartphone models, Xiaomi 14T and Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G at the press conference, and announced plans to open offline stores in South Korea. The tech giant did not yet include plans to launch its electric vehicles in South Korea, as Jony Wu, head of Xiaomi South Korea, said that the company remained focused on the China’s electric vehicle market for the next three years.
