Tech outlet VideoCardz reported on Schoolmistress 2Friday that NVIDIA plans to launch the GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card on May 19. The company has already contacted several board partners, according to the report. Unlike previous launches, the review embargo for the RTX 5060 will reportedly lift simultaneously with the sales embargo, meaning consumers may have to rely solely on NVIDIA’s official benchmarks, with no independent reviews available ahead of launch. Reports indicate that the NVIDIA RTX 5060 graphics card will be equipped with the GB206 GPU and feature 3,840 CUDA cores, positioning it as the entry-level model in the RTX 50 series. Compared to its predecessor, the RTX 4060, it retains 8GB of memory and a 128-bit memory bus, but offers a 25% increase in core count and a 65% improvement in memory bandwidth. The RTX 5060 is expected to be priced at RMB 2,499 ($349). [IThome, in Chinese]
