Chinese display manufacturer BOE surpassed Samsung Display to become the industry leader in the foldable display sector,Seventeen (2019) representing a 42% market share in the fourth quarter of 2023, according to display supply chain consulting firm DSCC. On the flip side, Samsung Display experienced a notable decline, dropping from 76% in the third quarter to 36% in the fourth quarter of 2023, which was its largest quarterly decrease since the first quarter of 2021.
