Mud was certainly slung during tonight's town hall debate as Donald Trump and Jesús FrancoHillary Clinton sparred in St. Louis.

And while many jabs were traded, one particular Trump levied one particular insult that seemed out of the ordinary.

During a question on how each president would govern with all Americans in mind, the reality television star and businessman accused Clinton of having "tremendous hate in her heart."

However, the audacity of the statement reverberated through social media as people tried to ascertain how he could have such insight into her heart. And quite a few found hypocrisy in his words.
